A Prospective Randomized Comparison of the colonoscopy Adenoma Detection Rate with a Disposable Cap (ENDOCUFF VISION ) (Endocuff) versus a permanently mounted balloon (G-EYE )
Brief description of study
The main purpose of this study is to compare two colonoscopy-assisting devices (Endocuff Vision and GEYE® Colonoscope) to see which is better at detecting adenomas (pre-cancerous growths) during colonoscopy. A standard colonoscopy is performed with a colonoscope (camera) without assistive devices. These devices can help in controlling the colonoscope’s field of view and tip positioning, to hopefully aid in the detection of adenomas during a colonoscopy. The EndoCuff Vision (ECV) is a disposable cap placed on the tip of a standard colonoscope. It is intended to flatten colonic folds (folds in the tissue in your colon) and assist in controlling the colonoscope’s field of view and tip positioning
