Surveillance After Extremity Tumor Surgery International Randomized Controlled Trial
Brief description of study
The purpose of this research study is to determine whether the frequency of follow-up after surgery (visits every 3 months vs every 6 months) or imaging type (chest x-ray vs chest CT scans) will impact overall survival of patients treated for soft-tissue sarcoma. This study will involve visits every 3 months or every 6 months for the first two years after your surgery and then at least every 6 months. Additionally, you will have a chest x-ray or chest CT scan at each visit and you will be asked to answer questions about how you have been and whether you have paid out-of-pocket for any health services.
