The HistoSonics Edison System for treatment of primary solid renal tumors using histotripsy (#HOPE4KIDNEY US)

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Renal Cell Carcinoma
  • Age: Between 22 Year(s) - 100 Year(s)
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Other Inclusion Criteria:
    1. Patients diagnosed with only one (1) non-metastatic solid renal mass =3cm confirmed via CT
      2. or MRI =30 days prior to the index procedure date
    2. Patient has had a biopsy to determine the type of tumor at least 14 days or more prior to the index procedure
    3. Patient can tolerate general anesthesia

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

    1. Being actively treated in another pharmaceutical or device trial 30 days or less prior to planned index procedure date
    2. Have active cancers (not in remission for the last two years) other than non-melanomatous skin cancers
    3. Been on dialysis, being considered for dialysis or have acute renal failure
