The Natural History of Partial Ligamentous Tears in the Wrist

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to better understand common injuries in the wrist. Patients who fall or otherwise injure their hand or wrist can injure ligaments – the tough connections that help stabilize bones in the wrist. Two of these important ligaments and stabilizers are called the Scapholunate Ligament (SLL) and the Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex (TFCC). The data to be collected will provide important information on how these common injuries heal.
