NYU Cooperative Prostate Cancer Tissue Resource

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to collect prostate tissue, blood, urine, and health information from a large group of patients for whom prostate cancer has spread outside the prostate. These samples and health information, including outcome (i.e., how you fared after surveillance and/or treatment) will be made available to researchers at NYU School of Medicine and, after thorough review of the request for samples, to other US research institutions or commercial organizations through the PCBN. This collection will allow these researchers to conduct investigations of prostate cancer and other prostate diseases.
