MRI for Monitoring Osteoporosis Therapy Response

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to see if adding a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan that uses investigational software to a standard bone density test (DXA) helps to better monitor the health and treatment of people with osteoporosis. The investigational software analyzes, on the MR images, the shape, size, geometry, and structure of your bones, and this may permit physicians the ability to better assess your bone health. An MRI scan is different from the regular bone density test because it can provide images in 3-D and with higher resolution, which allows us to see more detailed bone structure.
