Specimen Collection for Infectious Diseases with Public Health Importance

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Diseases Of Public Health Importance
    Influenza
  • Age: Between 0 years - 110 years
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Other Inclusion Criteria:
    1. Subjects suspected or confirmed current or past infectious disease with public health importance
    2. Adult BMI = 18.5
    3. Child BMI: A child below the 10th percentile is considered underweight; must be >10%.
    4. Weight for a neonate or infant the CDC recommends using WHO growth chart for ages 0-24 months of age. An infant or neonate below the 10th percentile is considered underweight; must be >10%.
    5. Must be able to understand and sign the Informed Consent Form (ICF). Assent forms will be provided for children or minors (<18 years of age).

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

    1. Subjects with known clinically significant anemia or contraindication to phlebotomy
    2. Subjects with any condition that, in the opinion of the Investigator, would make study participation unsafe or would interfere with the objectives of the study
    3. Nonviable neonates
    4. or Neonates of uncertain
