You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Cardiovascular Disease (cvd)
Age: Between 40 Year(s) - 65 Year(s)
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
CAD Patients:
1. Documented Coronary Artery Disease by Angiography with =20% stenosis in any vessel
2. Documented Carotid Artery Disease = 16 % stenosis
3. Those who are obese must have Body Mass Index (BMI) >30
Lean Healthy Controls:
1. No documented CAD or Carotid Artery Disease
Diabetes Mellitus Type II
1. HbA1c of >6.5%
2. Random Blood Sugar of 200 mg/dL
3. Fasting Blood Sugar of>126 mg/dL on 2 separate occasions

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Subjects who has history of cancer in the last 5 years
2. Diagnosis of autoimmune disease
