COVID 19 Intervention: Influence of ECMO on Cytokine Storm with/without Cytokine Filtration

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Covid 19
U07.1 Covid-19, Virus Identified
Age: Between 18 - 60 Years
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
1. Subjects who are documented with COVID-19 by PCR testing
2. Subjects with Respiratory Distress Syndrome requiring ventilatory support
3. Subjects who need ECMO as determined by NYU Langone ECMO team

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Absence of documentation of COVID 19 infection 2. Decision by the ECMO team that a patient is not a candidate for ECMO
