Community-Based Approaches to Treating Hypertension and Colon Cancer Prevention

Brief description of study

If you have been diagnosed with hypertension and colon cancer, you may qualify for a clinical trial studying the effects of two different methods of behavioral interventions on reducing blood pressure and increasing colon cancer screening. Purpose The goal of the study is to evaluate and compare the effect of a lifestyle intervention delivered through telephone-based motivational interviewing (MINT) versus a patient navigation intervention on blood pressure reduction and CRC screening (colorectal cancer screening).
