Multi-gene panel testing in ovarian cancer.

Brief description of study

If you are newly diagnosed with ovarian, peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer and may or may not have received genetic testing, you may qualify to participate in a clinical trial evaluating the feasibility of timely routine referrals to genetic counseling. The main goal of this study is to determine which genetic variants (difference amongst the genes) are identified and whether genetic testing at the time of cancer diagnosis places additional emotional stress (affects quality of life) in women with new diagnosis of epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.
