Focus Groups on Socially-Assistive Robots for Alzheimer s
Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to get your opinion about special robots (SARA robot) that could help people with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia with everyday tasks. Through focus group sessions, the developer of the robots will learn how to improve it for better use and greater benefits for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and their caregivers. Individual participants will decide how many sessions they would like to participate in, as participation in all three focus group sessions is not required. Individuals can either participate for one session (including pre-study data collection, total participation duration around 1 month), two sessions (total participation duration around 6 months) or all three focus groups (total participation duration around 1 year).
