Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

• Conditions:
  Covid-19
• Age: Between 18 years - 100 years
• Gender: Male or Female

• Other Inclusion Criteria:
  

  1. Participants who are 18 years or older
  2. Patient has coronavirus disease COVID-19
  3. Participants requiring mechanical ventilatory support with moderate to severe ARDS
  4. Participants with laboratory results of high sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP) serum level >4.0 mg/dL
  5. Participants with Acute Physiologic and Chronic Health Evaluation (APACHE IV) score >5
  6. Participant or his/her legally authorized representative (LAR) is able to provide written informed consent
  7. Creatinine clearance less than 30 mL/minute
  8. LFTs (ALT or AST) > 5x normal

  
  

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

• 1. Currently receiving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) or high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)
  2. Pregnant or lactating
  3. Participants with established positive bacterial blood cultures prior to enrollment or suspicion of superimposed bacterial pneumonia
  4. Those with untreated HIV infection
  5. Participants who have been intubated for more than 72 hours
  6. Known hypersensitivity to DMSO or to porcine or bovine proteins
  7. History of prior respiratory disease with requirement for supplemental oxygen
  8. Any end-stage organ disease which in the opinion of the investigator may possibly affect the safety of remestemcel-L treatment
  9. Receiving an investigational cellular therapy agent
