Serologic Testing and Genomic Analysis of Autoimmune Immune-Mediated and Rheumatic Patients with COVID-19 (SAGA)

Brief description of study

This is a prospective cohort study involving all subjects enrolled in the Web-based Assessment of Autoimmune, Immune-Mediated, and Rheumatic Patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic (WARCOV) study (study number: i20-00389). Subjects with immune-mediated inflammatory disorders (IMID) previously enrolled in WARCOV will be asked to provide blood samples for SARS-CoV-2 antibody testing, blood typing, genomic analysis, inflammatory cytokine measurements, and biobanking purposes and nasal swabs for detection of SARS-CoV 2 receptor such as ACE2 and TMPRSS2. An optional directed musculoskeletal examination will also be performed by a study physician. Clinico-epidemiologic information will be obtained from the WARCOV database.
