The Lived Experience of Perioperative and Ambulatory Registered Nurses Displaced to Acute Care Settings During the COVID-19 Pandemic at an Urban Specialty Hospital: A Phenomenological Study

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to describe perioperative and ambulatory registered nurses’ experience caring for COVID-19 positive patients on inpatient, acute units during the coronavirus pandemic. This study is being done to collect your thoughts/reactions/opinions on being displaced from another care area, with a different patient population during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study will last about six months and will involve only one interview session. The study team may check back with you once within six months of the interview for less than 15 minutes to be sure that the study team have correctly captured your experience.
