Treatment Of Children With All Stages Of Hepatoblastoma With Temsirolimus Added To High Risk Stratum Treatment
Brief description of study
If your child has been diagnosed with hepatoblastoma and has been treated with surgery followed by chemotherapy, he/she may qualify for a clinical trial studying event free survival (EFS -length of time after primary cancer treatment, a patient remains free of further complications or recurrence) after treatment with surgery and chemotherapy. Purpose The goal of the study is to estimate the event free survival in children diagnosed with hepatoblastoma and treated with surgery followed by 2 cycles of chemotherapy using C5V (cisplatin, fluorouracil, and vincristine sulfate). The study will also explore the effect of adding doxorubicin to the chemotherapy regimen.
