Impact of Weight Loss in Patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether or not the known impact of obesity on patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy(HCM) can be improved with weight loss. The study will examine if weight loss might decrease mass and wall thickness in this condition and thus improve symptoms. Also, the results of this study could lead to improved dietary guidance for families of HCM patients
