A Sham Controlled Prospective Randomized Clinical Trial of the RejuvenAir System for the Treatment of Moderate to Severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with Chronic Bronchitis (SPRAY-CB)
Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of a new device called the RejuvenAir® System, developed for patients with chronic bronchitis. The RejuvenAir® System being examined in this study is an experimental device and has not been approved by the FDA. The RejuvenAir® System is being evaluated as a treatment of chronic bronchitis. It works by delivering liquid nitrogen through a tube (catheter) to instantly flash freeze the lining of the airways (also called metered cryospray).
