Electrical stimulation of cochlear nucleus for hearing restoration

Brief description of study

The study examines hearing and sound perception in deaf individuals who are treated with cochlear implants or auditory brainstem implants (ABIs). The goal is to understand the limitations of the existing auditory implant devices. This knowledge may help modify programming of auditory implant devices and improve speech perception of device users.
