You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Prediabetes

Age: Between 21 Year(s) - 65 Year(s)

Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
- Participants with blood glucose level (HbA1c) between 5.7% and 6.4%
- Participants sleeping less than 6 hours per night on most nights of the week (objectively-estimated)
- English speaking
You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

- Diagnosis of type 2 diabetes or taking insulin or oral hypoglycemic medications (other than Metformin)
- Pregnant/lactating
- Current chemotherapy treatments
- Alcohol abuse/dependence.
- Recent or planned night shift work or trans-meridian travel
- Moderate-severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
- Sleep disorders (other than sleep apnea or insomnia)
- Take sleep-promoting medications 3 or more nights of the week
- Unstable medical illness or health condition
- Unstable psychiatric illness
- Moderate/severe or severe depression
- Any condition that, in opinion of the PI, will interfere with the safe completion of the study.
