PECS II BLOCK VERSUS SURGEON INFILTRATION FOR OPEN SUBPECTORAL BICEPS TENODESIS
Are you eligible to participate in this study?
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Biceps Tendinopathy

Age: Between 15 - 75 Years

Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
- Participants will provide written informed consent
- Participants who are undergoing shoulder arthroscopy with open subpectoral biceps tenodesis
You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

- Participants with a history of chronic pain that have used opioids for pain management for 3 months or longer
- Allergic to oxycodone
- Diagnosed or self-reported cognitive dysfunction
- History of neurologic disorder that can interfere with pain sensation
- History of drug or recorded alcohol abuse
- Unable to understand or follow instructions
- Severe liver disease, renal insufficiency, congestive heart failure, and/or significant heart disease
- Allergy or contraindication to any of the medications used in the study or has contraindication to any study procedures
- BMI over 45
- Any patient that the investigators feel cannot comply with all study related procedures
- NYU Langone Health students, residents, faculty or staff members
