Abaloparatide versus Placebo for Pelvic Fracture Healing - A Phase 2 Randomized Controlled Trial

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether Abaloparatide, also known as Tymlos can help to heal a broken bone (fracture) in the pelvis (part of your hip) more quickly than the standard treatment. This study will examine whether 3 months of Abaloparatide (Tymlos) injections will help your bones to heal quicker, reduce your pain and help you to move sooner as compared to a placebo injection (filled with inactive ingredients). After 3 months, the participant will be able to go on a treatment of your choice and be followed for the rest of the year. The overall participation will continue over the course of 12 months.
