A Natural History Study of Patients with Genetically Confirmed Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 3 with a History of Stone Events

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 3
  • Age: Between 2 years - 80 years
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Other Inclusion Criteria:
    1. Diagnosis of primary hyperoxaluria type 3 (PH3) confirmed by genotyping
    2. History of stone events during the last 3 years and/or presence of preexisting stones detected by renal ultrasound
    3. 24-hour Uox > 0.7 mmol normalized to 1.73 m2 BSA, on each of the 2 collections during Screening
    4. Less than 20% variation between the two 24-hour urinary creatinine measurements
    5. Toilet trained and/or otherwise able to accommodate 24-hour urine collection

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

    1. Prior hepatic transplantation; or planned transplantation
    2. Currently receiving dialysis or anticipating requirement for dialysis during the study
    3. Inability or unwillingness to comply with the specified study procedures
