Biology of Blood Cells in Healthy Volunteers

Brief description of study

The purpose of the study is to investigate signals in your blood that protect against aneurysm formation. An aneurysm is a bulge in a blood vessel that carries blood to or away from the heart. Research has shown that platelets and other blood activity may be signals for aneurysm formation. The study will look at the characteristics of healthy blood and medical history, considering one do not have any known cardiovascular or coronary disease in the past or present. By obtaining healthy data on signals in the blood, more understanding may be gathered regarding the onset of aneurysms.
