Clinical Research Studies

The purpose of this study is to test the feasibility of collecting heart rate (HR) readings using two commercially-available heart rate sensors, the PolarH10 and KardiaMobile. By “feasibility”, we mean seeing how useful these consumer devices are for data collection and analysis. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared the KardiaMobile device. The research will collect heart rate data to study whether the differences in heart rate may be associated with differences in how individuals living with Multiple sclerosis (MS) experience symptom burden. To explore this relationship more fully, the study team will compare heart rate readings with information about your physical and mental health, and childhood experiences.
