Crutch Use After Arthroscopic Hip Surgery

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether crutch use for 4 weeks following hip arthroscopic surgery is superior to crutch use for 1 week following hip arthroscopic surgery. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of 2 crutch-use regimens, the study will have 2 groups of subjects: one group will use crutches for 1 week after surgery, one group will use crutches for 4 weeks after surgery. Previous studies have indicated that both crutch durations are standard of care. All patients will continue to receive a standard of care regimen throughout their rehabilitation course.
