Relationship Between Synovial Fluid Biomarkers in ACL Reconstructed Patients and Progression of Osteoarthritis

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to look at biomarkers in synovial (joint) fluid and blood in patients undergoing knee surgery to develop a way to predict treatment radiological outcomes (such as osteoarthritis progression). Biomarkers are substances in the body that can measure normal processes in the body as well as abnormal processes such as inflammation and joint disease.
