CardioMech Mitral Valve Repair System (MVRS) Early Feasibility Study

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to to obtain clinical data on the CardioMech Mitral Valve Repair System (MVRS). It is used to treat degenerative mitral valve regurgitation. Mitral valve regurgitation is a condition in which your heart’s mitral valve doesn't close tightly. This allows blood to flow backward in your heart. Degenerative means there is something intrinsically wrong with the mitral valve that causes it to leak. The device is investigational.
