Flexible Surface Coil for MRI

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to test if we can use a redesigned device of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner, called a coil, for obtaining images during MRI-guided procedures in people with musculoskeletal conditions such as neuropathy, arthrosis, myopathy, inflammation, infection, and tumors. The coil receives the MR signals from your body and translates these signals into a computerized picture. The study will test the image quality of our new coil “camera” device, which is flexible and more pliable to adjust to the surface contour (shape) of the human body and provides faster images and better handling of the instruments used to complete the procedures.
