Performance Evaluation of 3D DIXON MRI of Joints
Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to develop a method for faster MRI of joints. This study will test whether this new technique is reliable and accurate. This technique is considered investigational. Investigational means that it is being tested in research studies like this one and is not Food and Drug Administration(FDA) approved for clinical purposes. This imaging is for research purposes only and will not be used for clinical diagnostic imaging. Subjects enrolled in this study will undergo a joint MRI with new and standard techniques. Compared to the standard technique currently used at NYU, the new technique can record MR images faster and with higher detail.
