Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

• Conditions:
  Volunteers With Or Without Risk Factor For Joint Degeneration
• Age: Between 18 years - 80 years
• Gender: Male or Female

• Other Inclusion Criteria:
  

  1. Healthy adults volunteers (= 18 years of age) without and with risk factors for joint degeneration, including elevated body mass index, joint pain, and history of joint trauma. This information will be obtained through a review of medical records at NYU
  2. Willingness and ability to provide informed consent
  3. No metal hardware in the imaged joint
  4. No contraindication to MRI: defined as claustrophobia or presence of other MRI-incompatible devices

  
  

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

• 1. History of joint surgery
  2. Pregnancy (self-reported or self-suspected)
  3. Self-reported or radiographically identifiable joint degeneration
