Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation Mobile Health: A Single-Center Observational Study

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to show that a smartphone app developed at NYU called FaceMetrix can be used with a TrueDepth camera to monitor skin color changes. This study will include Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation (VCA) transplant recipients as well as healthy volunteers. Detection of skin color changes using the NYU FaceMetrix app and TrueDepth camera may help us to provide better longterm care for VCA transplant recipients, since acute allograft rejection (sudden rejection of transplanted tissue) is associated with skin color changes.
