Patient Expectations Following Flexor Tendon Repair - a Qualitative Analysis

Brief description of study

The primary aim of this study is to evaluate patients’ expectations following flexor tendon repair. We hypothesize that patients will have overly optimistic expectations and will solicit unrelated personal experiences in forming their predictions. We will evaluate what sources patients use to obtain information and will ask patients to consider the physical, mental, financial, and other long-term effects of flexor tendon injuries.
