Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Cardiovascular Disease
  • Age: Between 40 Year(s) - 84 Year(s)
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Other Inclusion Criteria:
    1. Self-identify as Pakistani or Bangladeshi
    2. Are first generation immigrants
    3. Able to speak and read English, Urdu, Bangla, or Hindi
    4. Do not have known CVD
    5. Willing and able to provide consent
    6. Willing and able to participate in study procedures

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

    1. Have physician diagnosed heart attack, stroke, heart failure, angina, atrial fibrillation, or past cardiovascular procedures or surgery
    2. Are in active treatment for cancer
    3. Have life expectancy <5 years due to serious illness
    4. Have plans to move out of the study region in the next 5 years
    5. Are pregnant
