A Multi-Center study in Patients Undergoing Total Knee Replacement with Smith+Nephew Porous Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) Systems

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of the Porous Total Knee System. The total knee system is made up of several components: a porous tibia, a porous femur, a plastic insert and – depending on your surgeon’s decision – a patella, which may be porous or plastic. These components are used to replace the different parts of your knee which might have worn away or are damaged. All the products in this study have been approved for use by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
