Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

• Conditions:
  Postpartum Depression
• Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 100 Year(s)
• Gender: Female

• Other Inclusion Criteria:
  

  Phase 1

  1. Identifies as Chinese American
  2. Speaks and understands Mandarin, Cantonese and/or English
  3. Capable of providing informed consent

  Phase 2

  1. Receives prenatal care or resides in Sunset Park
  2. Speaks and understands Mandarin Chinese
  3. Is between 13 and 30 weeks pregnant at the beginning of each wave of ROSE
  4. Capable of providing informed consent
  5. Scores less than 13 on Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale

  
  

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

• Phase 1

  1. Under 18 years of age
  2. Does not speak and understand English, Cantonese or Mandarin
  3. Is not capable of providing informed consent

  Phase 2

  1. Not receiving prenatal care in Sunset Park
  2. Under 18 years of age
  3. Does not speak and understand Mandarin
  4. Is not between 13 and 30 weeks pregnant at the beginning of each wave of ROSE
  5. Is not capable of providing informed consent
  6. Scoring greater than 12 on Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale
  7. Positive score to #10 on the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale
  8. Has a history of a serious mental health condition and/or in treatment for serious mental health condition, as determined by NYULH staff
