Research support for tele-psychiatry pilot in shelters including landscape design contribution and evaluation

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Mental Health
  • Age: Between 18 - 99 Years
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Other Inclusion Criteria:
    Qualitative component:
    1. Individuals, namely providers and staff, with key roles at DHS and NYU Brooklyn
    2. Treatment group
      1. Individuals staying at one of the following three DHS homeless shelters where the telepsychiatry service is being implemented: CAMBA Atlantic, at a shelter to be specified on Wards Island, and Magnolia House
      2. Individuals must also be enrolled as NYU Brooklyn patients
      Control group
      1. Individuals staying at other similar shelters in New York City

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

    1. For Qualitative group: those who are not staff
    2. For the Quantitive group: does not met the inclusion criteria
