Exploring Associations Between Fatigue and Metabolic Syndrome in Black Women

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to describe fatigue in Black women with Metabolic Syndrome. Metabolic Syndrome is a cluster of conditions that includes increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal blood cholesterol that occur together, increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes. The researchers hope to learn how patients experience fatigue and to understand how it impacts daily life, so that in the future they can use the results to develop personalized interventions.
