Anabolic Androgenic Steroid Use among Gay Bisexual and Queer Men in NYC

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to understand the experiences of gay, bisexual, and queer (GBQ) men who use anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS), also known as “testosterone”. We hope to learn about how and why GBQ men use AAS, where GBQ men find information about how to stay healthy while using AAS, what interactions GBQ men have had with healthcare providers about their AAS use, and how to provide optimal medical care to GBQ men who use AAS. This research study is being done to collect your thoughts, experiences, and opinions. The researchers will do this through a questionnaire and interview.
