A Phase I/II Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Trial of Cannabidiol for chronic radiculopathic pain syndromes maintained on chronic opioid therapy

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to see how safe and effective Cannabidiol (CBD) is for the treatment of chronic non-cancer spinal radiculopathic pain conditions in people maintained on an ongoing dose of opioid pain medications. The researchers will assess the effects of CBD on opioid medication use, pain as well as aspects of thinking, emotions and behavior.
