Promoting adherence in upper extremity home-based rehabilitation through motivational interviewing and ecological momentary assessment: A mixed methods feasibility study

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to determine the pros and cons of delivering a new arm training program completed in the participants’ homes. Our study uses shared decision making, and daily and weekly remote communication to support participants and make sure that everyone successfully completes the arm training program. This study will last about 10 weeks and will involve about 14 visits. While in this study you will be asked work with an occupational therapist to determine your goals and training activities (part 1), and then you will complete arm exercises and activities for 1 hour/day, 5 days a week, for 4 weeks at home (part 2).
