NYU MANAGING EPILEPSY WELL (MEW) STUDY: A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL OF TELEPHONE-BASED SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH EPILEPSY

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Depression
Epilepsy
Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 99 Year(s)
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
1. Fluent in English or Spanish
2. Diagnosed with epilepsy for at least one year
3. Elevated depressive symptoms
4. Willing to participate in audiotaped group telephone sessions

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Have severe depression
2. Active suicidal ideation
3. Active psychotic disorder
4. Significant cognitive impairment
