Single-center study of fiber tractography in brain tumor surgery

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Brain Tumor
Age: Between 18 years - 90 years
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
1. Brain tumor patients: diagnosed with glioma, glioblastoma, meningioma or brain metastases and clinically scheduled for surgical brain tumor removal and presurgical MRI brain scan
2. Able to sign informed consent

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Unable to sign informed consent or to comply with study assessments (e.g., due to cognitive impairment)
2. Pregnant women are not eligible for participating in this study
3. Claustrophobia
4. Obese individuals (BMI = 30)
5. Contraindications to 3T whole body MRI scanners (e.g., pacemaker, cerebral aneurysm clip, cochlear implant, presence of shrapnel in strategic locations, metal in the eye, claustrophobia, or other problems)
