Non-contact microscope measurement of endothelial cell density after cataract surgery

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Senile Cataract
Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 100 Year(s)
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
1. Diagnosis of cataracts, in one or both eyes
2. Being seen in clinic to schedule a cataract surgery
3. Completion of cataract surgery
4. Ability to understand study and provide appropriate consent

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Any previous intraocular surgery in the study eye (e.g. laser refractive, retinal, or glaucoma surgery)
2. Use of prescription eye drops in the study eye (use of over-the-counter tear drops is not an exclusion criteria)
3. Scheduled to receive another surgery combined with the cataract surgery
4. Unable to understand the study or consent for themselves
5. Pregnant or planning to be pregnant during the study
