Clinical Research Studies

The primary purpose of the current research is to see how relationships between patients and clinicians can affect low back pain and function. This study will also examine racialized disparities chronic low back pain and function among individuals with chronic low back pain who identify as non-Hispanic Black and non-Hispanic White. Investigating these disparities will allow future research to address these gaps in how people experience back pain. There will be questionnaires regarding your socio-economic status, gender, pain-related fear, perceived discrimination, and perceived pain-related stigmatization to see how these measures connect to pain function, and patient-clinician relationships.
