A Multi-Center Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of CK-3773274 in Adults with Symptomatic Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction
Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of CK-3773274, and placebo, on the exercise abilities and health status of participants with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM). The safety and tolerability of CK-3773274 will also be studied. The study will also measure the amount of CK-3773274 in your blood at various times, and the effect the study drug may have on your oHCM. The study drug may reduce symptoms of your oHCM by reducing heart pumping function. CK-3773274 is an experimental study drug in this study because it has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the health authority that gives approval for new medicines to be prescribed in the United States.
