Parkinson s Foundation PD GENEration Genetic Registry

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to provide clinical genetic testing through the Parkinson’s Foundation to patients who are interested in undergoing genetic testing for PD-related mutations and establishing a centralized sample repository of patients with PD for future research use. This centralized sample repository can help us better understand genetic mutations associated with PD, help accelerate research efforts, accelerate clinical trial timelines and assist your physician in making more informed decisions regarding your clinical care. Knowing if you have specific genetic mutations may help to identify your eligibility for therapeutic research clinical trials as well.
