Non-Invasive Salivary Biomarkers in Full Term Neonates

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate if biomarkers measured in body fluids (such as saliva) are present in healthy, full-term babies. Biomarkers are a measurable substance in body fluid that can predict the occurrence of a specific outcome. This is significant because findings could revolutionize the way babies are monitored in the hospital if they become sick.
