The HEALthy Brain and Child Development Study (HBCD)

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Substance Use
Age: Between 0 Year(s) - 65 Year(s)
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
1. Currently pregnant.
2. Mothers currently 18 years of age or older.
3. English or Spanish speaking.
4. Agree to the requirements of the study.

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Prenatal diagnosis of a major birth defect prior to enrollment.
2. Infections in pregnancy such as Zika virus, rubella, varicella, cytomegalovirus and syphilis.
3. Plan to terminate the pregnancy or give the child up for adoption.
4. Inability to complete the study measures in English or Spanish.
5. Incapacity of the pregnant person to provide consent.
