Rapid Structure-Function MRI of the Lung for Post-COVID-19 Management

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Post-covid 19
  • Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 99 Year(s)
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Other Inclusion Criteria:
    Patients
    1. Adult (18-99 years old) post-COVID-19 patients (patients recovered from COVID-19) within NYULMC
    2. Any race
    3. Competent and willing to provide verbal informed consent
    Healthy Controls
    1. Ages 18-99
    2. Any race
    3. Competent and willing to sign informed consent
    4. No COVID-19 history
    5. No significant lung disease history

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

    1. Contraindications to MRI scanning (i.e., metal implants, pacemakers, Ferromagnetic implants such as aneurysm clips, surgical clips, prostheses, artificial hearts, valves with steel parts, metal fragments, shrapnel, tattoos near the eye, or steel implants).
    2. Pre-existing medical conditions including likelihood of developing severe seizure or severe claustrophobic reactions, and any greater than normal potential for cardiac arrests.
    3. Permanent makeup around the eyes.
